Description

An advanced wardriving tool for telco professionals in WiFi mapping by aligning wireless signals for wireless access points, wireless outdoor bridge and client units in compliance with IEEE802.11 a/b/g/n modes. This device is a handheld PDA that operates in Win CE platform with support for 802.11a/b/g/n protocols in 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. In a large scale wireless network, WISP or telco professionals may use this tool to map the access point with corresponding wireless devices for precise signal alignment, in addition to choosing the wireless environment with complete information on signal quality and base stations. All base station with different channels can be monitored for stable and secure connectivity. It helps users to trace the information of selected base stations by offering several practical tools for reference during site survey or wireless network deployment. Simply attach the RF connectors on the wireless testing equipment with external outdoor WiFi antenna with high gain for signal extension. Conduct trouble shooting in wireless network by exploring the various features in roaming test, environment site survey, BSS survey, AP (Wireless Access Point) Detector, Channel Monitor, Pack sent and received, signal strength, rouge AP/Client, and even generate wireless test reports.
